सुंदरता बिखराती जाए
अँधकार से लड़ कर पग-पग
हमें हमारी राह दिखाए
स्नेह दीप से रोशन हर मन
हर घर मंदिर का हर कोना

हर अंजुरी में प्यार का सोना
मेल मिलाप से रौनक दुनिया

we didn’t expect to see

just when we needed to

sometimes

it discloses itself to us slowly

when we are weary and in needof something…

…anything

a cluster of primrose

hidden upon the forest floor

a sunset that illumines

the horizon as well as the heart

a gentle smile from a stranger

that seems to understand

more often

Love comes to us softly

barely noticed

like a dandelion seed

carrying a wish

upon the evening breeze

or a poem

whispered at night

from depths of one heart

into the heart of another
